Archive, delete & read conversations in Google Messages
Archived conversations disappear from the Home screen, but you can still read them. Mark all as read: Tap More Mark all as read. Delete: To delete the selected conversations from Google Messages, tap Delete . If you use Google Messages as your default messaging app, deleted conversations will also be deleted from your device.

Archive or delete a class - Computer - Classroom Help
When a class is archived, it’s archived for all students and teachers in the class. If you don’t archive a class, students and teachers in the class continue to find it on their Classes page. Teachers and co-teachers can archive a class, but only the primary teacher can delete a class. Students can’t archive or delete a class.
