Copying Photos to Computer Incomplete For years now I copied photos from my phone to my Windows computer without issue. I'm now running the current release of iOS 16 with an iPhone 14 Pro. Windows 10 is V22H2, all maintenance applied and plenty of storage space on target, (606GB free). I highlight a folder, CRTL-C, select a target and CRTL-V.
I found that although I can't copy photos from my iPhone 12 Pro with ios 17 to my tower PC with Windows 10 anymore, I can copy photos from my iPhone to my laptop with same version of Windows 10.
I was able to fix this problem by simply changing a setting on my iPhone. If you have the same problem, go to Settings/Photos and scroll down to "Transfer to Mac or PC."
Photos App - Can see my pictures, but cannot copy and paste. If I click add, I have ZERO flexibility over where to put the pictures. They will go to a new folder on OneDrive. I don't want that. According to Apple Support, file manager is not the way to transfer files. Apple Support setup an in store appointment for me.
How to move pics from iPhone to PC as JPG HEIC pics are worthless. Imagine going to Grandma's house after she passes and finding a box of photos with only the date taken and location on the back. The pictures are basically worthless. That's HEIC.
How to import iPhone photos as JPG instead of HEIC on Windows 11? Previously my PC was on Windows 10, and whenever I transfer my iPhone 13 photos to PC, they were in JPG format. However, after I updated my PC to Windows 11, iPhone 13 photos are transferred in HEIC format instead of JPG. May I know how to transfer them as JPG format?
I have just purchased an iphone 14 pro max and am having repeated catastrophic failure when copying pictures from the phone to my Windows 10 PC. After rebooting the phone and the PC time after time, it will copy maybe 2 pictures, stall and give me the message catastrophic failure. It also sometimes says 'the requested value cannot be determined'.
Your PC can’t find the device if the device is locked. On your PC, select the Start button and then select Photos to open the Photos app. Select Import > From a USB device, then follow the instructions. You can pick the items you want to import and select where to save them. Allow a few moments for detection and transfer.
Copying photos from Windows pc to iphone I would like to copy some photos (*.jpg) from my windows 11 pc to my iphone 13 (ios 15). If I email the photos to myself, they are in the mail folder, but I cannot manipulate them (ie: crop to fit the screen, move to the photos folder, etc).
